  Watch the extraction on this one as it deviates a bit from my normal zips. Extract it into your Quake2 directory with Winzip's "Folder-names" turned on.

    Rehosting & Reviewers - 1600
      As you've all seen by now, we moved over to a new machine & a brand-new URL. Unfortunately the adverts pay the bills so live with them. I must shamelessly pimp my ISP TSCNet, they have been good to me. We now sport full-CGI support along with enough webspace to grow. Thanks Chris!

      Since we are prepared for a little growth now, I see no reason to start cranking-out a few more reviews out for you! This said, we are HIRING a technically-oriented individual to help out with the reviews. All we ask is that you follow our format & write two reviews per month. That's it! Email DeFrag if you might be interested. I'd really like to ramp-up this operation.

      Pure DM reviews Millennium (235kb)! How's an EXCELLENT rating grab ya? Thanks IsmiteU! Destruction Zone shall be my next Q2DM level. Its three arenas are stocked with an RL, RG, & SSG. Mainly developed for clan-practices, it should rock in any mode you throw at it.

    Millennium - 1845
      In celebration of both life & death within our perceived universe, I've present my 2nd Quake2 level: Millennium (235kb)!!

      I'd like to welcome Crusader & Chieftan to Clan SK. I plan on adding 12 more kick-ass levels to our rotation in January as well. Our clan pages are slowly taking shape. Check back in a week or so to see how they look. Additionally, you'll notice I added .plan updates above from the gods at Id Software.

    Bloody Contest - 0845
      Can you dish-out enough carnage? We're holding a contest at 9:00pm Pacific on Halloween-night to find out. It will be held on our custom-server at 198.135.234.35:27970. Gameplay shall consist of a selection of 3 levels from our rotation FFA-style against all other entrants. This gives you 2 weeks to familiarize yourself with & learn the levels backwards. Highest frag-count totaling from all 3 games win. Members of Clans IOI & GM are even welcome, er.. except HellsReaper of course... j/k Reap ol' buddy.

      The overall winner of the 3 matches shall go up against I DeFrag, Char, or Executioner 1v1-style for the chance at the Gran Prix. If you lose, we keep our hard-drive. Prizes shall include:

  • Grand prize: Fujitsu 3.5GB drive
  • 1st Prize: Intel Pro 10/100 NIC or a Microsoft Intellimouse
  • 2nd Prize: Blood 2 or Baldur's Gate
  • 3rd Prize: Dark Colony & 1 box 3.5" diskettes

    Netscape, Popups, & Rotations - 2300
      I've rewritten the site to provide better support for Netscape browers, but still cannot recommend it though. It simply does not resolve HTML as well & crashes with much JavaScript.

      Also, I restructured the Reviews page, implemented some great info-popups, & updated our rotations. We should have the 2nd-rotation in force on our custom-server within another week.

      I threw up a Resources page with links to HW-reviews, strategy-guides, etc. There exists a local-copy of the Abandon Taunts (2.67mb) to keep you "lol". I posted a couple files on the Servers page for our own custom-server. Lastly, buttons were added to the Clan IOI, Clan GM, & my personal website on the Links page. Rock on!

      I've added Terrafusion's custom-server to the Servers page. Clan-IOI should have another custom-server up in the future based in San Diego. I can't wait to have two custom-servers up simulteously! Let's keep our rockets crossed.

      I introduce "Char", our resident network-guy from Seattle. He has gladly posted a custom-server with the Top-Levels & my NoHope into the rotation. It runs Clan-IOI's server-side Abandon modification which is alot like Lithium2 but with a few extra runes & tons of new taunts. We should have it ready tonight.
