Admissions

1. Sponsorship


  All applicants must be sponsored by an active member of [SK]. Furthermore, the
sponsor must place in our ranking at the time of sponsorship. This maintains
that they regularly participate in current gameplay & are familiar with the
dynamics of [SK]'s direction. This also ensures the applicant that fairness
prevails regarding all applicants across the board.


2. Custom-Trials


  Applicants must make themselves available for evaluation on our Custom-server
at a specified time. As in regular play, three maps shall be served at random.
This ensures that applicants are familiar with the levels & minimizes unnecessary
administration. All active [SK] members in ranking except the sponsor can vie for
the opportunity to test applicants.

  We provide at least one observer to more effectively balance interpretation of
the three matches & promote clan participation. The sponsor is of course prohibited
to participate in said trials but may still observe. Evaluation of teamwork skills
shall come through our private practice-sessions together.

  Applicants shall be judged on sportsmanship, skill, style, & determination in
the face of adversity (heh=). A formalized written critique shall be provided to
applicants who have been denied probationary membership. Once denied, the applicant
may reapply for [SK] membership after a period of not less than 30 days from the
date of critique. Upon two successive denials, applicants must wait at least 60
days before reapplying.


3. Probation


  Once accepted into [SK], applicants enter probationary status for a period
not less than three weeks. This phase guarantees exposure to fellow members &
the general public. During this period, a probationary skin will be issued & a
lower-case "[sk]" is to be appended to your name. While in probationary status,
the applicant may at any time be granted full-membership or denied continuance
of probation or acceptance into [SK], either by unanimous-decision by all
standing-members.


4. Membership


  As a bonifide member of [SK], one must go forth & represent themselves with
the utmost pride, reservation, & fairness toward other players on our servers.
One must also exercise judicious care in administrative functions regarding
our servers. Deviance &/or abuse of administrative priviledges will result in
immediate & irrevocable dismissal from [SK].

  Remember, it is nice to keep the explicatives down a bit, but this ain't no
family program!

  We welcome all applicants regardless of race, creed, color, or religion.
Sex is optional, (heh=). Feel free to email one of us if you have any questions
or suggestions. It certainly would help [SK] as well as new members if they
posses some degree of web-publishing &/or server-skills but is not required.
There remains enough work for everbody.

  Last thing, remember to have as much fun as humanly-possible. We are a
tight-nit bunch of people around here.. let us get to know you a little.
